Project Spotlight: KSC Visitors Complex
NASA's Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex was in desperate need of an overhaul. The theme park's signage had not been updated in over a decade, and attendance had begun to dwindle over the years. The facility that was intended to be the conduit between our nations cutting edge space program was beginning to lose its luster.
In an effort to attract more visitors, the park began construction of several new attractions. Art-Kraft was contracted to design and build a new sign for the "Astronaut Encounter". Upon completion of this project, NASA was very impressed with the quality of Art-Kraft's work, and the ease in which it was performed.
Soon thereafter, the budget was approved for a total park overhaul, and Art-Kraft was called in once again.
Our designers teamed up with the park's management company, DNC, to develop several Design/Build solutions for various aspects of the park. From concept to installation, Art-Kraft was there every step of the way.
