A History of Signage
In 1962, Canadian born Bob Reilly worked as a sign painter for Klinkner Signs. Bob, along with his wife Marlene, ventured on their own in 1968 by starting Art-Kraft Sign Company. Over time, Art-Kraft, much like the community, began to grow, and Art-Kraft's reputation for quality began to spread. During the height of the space race, Bob himself painted the large American flag that adorns the side of the Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center.
Over time, Art-Kraft outgrew the small shop on US-1, and moved into a larger facility in West Melbourne. Art-Kraft became the go-to sign company of the community. A family run business, Bob handed the Art-Kraft torch over to his son Don in the early 90's. With a fresh outlook on the industry, Art-Kraft began to go after larger national accounts, and building signs for all over the country.
In 2003, operations moved to our brand new 17000 square foot facility in Palm Bay. Art-Kraft currently employs over 35 talented people, and is forever growing. However, we haven't lost sight of our motto.. Quality Signs at Affordable Prices.
